The Chanute Blue Comets baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Parsons Vikings to 3 in the Blue Comets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Blue Comets (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Frontenac (Frontenac, KS). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 10-1 record. In their last match, Frontenac gained a win over Prairie View (La Cygne, KS), 14-2, in a non-league match.
The Vikings (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Field Kindley (Coffeyville, KS). The Golden Tornado go into the non-league match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Field Kindley was overwhelmed by Pittsburg (Pittsburg, KS), 11-0, in a non-league match.
