South Carolina High School Baseball - Newberry loses to Clinton

The Clinton Red Devils crushed the host Newberry Bulldogs baseball team by a tally of 16-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Red Devils now hold a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitmire for a non-league bout on Friday, April 22. Clinton will face a Wolverines team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-11.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a AA Region 3 bout, on Friday, April 22. Newberry will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The War Eagles go into the game with a 19-3 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Eastside (Taylors, SC).
