The Washington County Golden Hawks crushed the visiting Jasper County Hurricanes baseball team by a tally of 7-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Golden Hawks now hold a 8-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jenkins County for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 20. Washington County will face a War Eagles team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Screven County (Sylvania, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 8-16.
Next, the Hurricanes face the Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA) in a AA Region 3 bout, on Wednesday, April 20. Jasper County will attempt to advance on its 6-19 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 2-13 record after their 17-11 non-league loss to Central (Macon, GA).
