The Manteno Panthers baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Lisle Lions to 4 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers (10-2) will now prepare for their match against Clifton Central (Clifton, IL). The Comets go into the non-league match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Clifton Central was overwhelmed by Milford (Milford, IL), 2-0, in a non-league match.
The Lions (4-10) will now prepare for their match against Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Aurora Christian edged IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL), 7-6, in a league match.
