The Southern Wake Academy Lions baseball team (Holly Springs, NC), was overwhelmed 14-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC)
The Mustangs now hold a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bartlett Yancey for a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, April 26. North Moore will face a Buccaneers team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Williams (Burlington, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-9.
Next, the Lions face the Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Cary, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A outing, on Wednesday, April 20. Southern Wake Academy will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 0-10 record after their 26-1 league loss to Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC).
