With the win, Beckman upgrades its record to 30-2 on the year. The Patriots host Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA) to play the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 20. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 24-4. Mater Dei won 3-1 in their recent league bout against JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA)

The Vaqueros now own a 7-18 record. They play next when they host Laguna Hills for a Pacific Coast bout on Thursday, April 21. Irvine will play a Hawks squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Portola (Irvine, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-12.
