The Plainfield East Bengals held off the host Lincoln-Way Central Knights volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Bengals now have a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joliet West for a Suburban Prarie test on Wednesday, April 20. Plainfield East will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 league win over Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 14-3.

The Knights (10-7) will now prepare for their test against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Spartans enter the non-league test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, St. Francis was nudged by St. Rita (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
