In Tuesday's league battle, the host Wheatmore Warriors soccer squad scored a good 9-0 win over the Providence Grove Patriots.
The Warriors (10-0) will now prepare for their battle against Trinity (Trinity, NC). The Bulldogs go into the Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A battle with a 2-8 record.
The Patriots (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars go into the Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Southwestern Randolph notched a victory over Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC), 5-2, in a league battle.
