In Tuesday's league game, the host Chaparral Firebirds baseball team scored a tight 15-10 victory over the O'Connor Eagles.
The Firebirds (10-3) will now prepare for their game against Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Mountain Lions go into the game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Mountain Ridge tipped Perry (Gilbert, AZ), 10-7, in a non-league game.
The Eagles (9-6) will now prepare for their game against Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Pioneers go into the game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Pinnacle was overwhelmed by Liberty (Peoria, AZ), 11-7, in a league game.
