The Cibola Cougars baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Cleveland Storm to 3 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Rams go into the match with a 16-1 record. In their last match, Rio Rancho ran past Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM), 20-0, in a non-league match.
The Storm (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks go into the match with a 10-4 record. In their last match, Volcano Vista ran past Valley (Albuquerque, NM), 9-2, in a non-league match.
