The Franklin Panthers baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Tuscola Mountaineers to 1 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Pisgah (Canton, NC). The Bears go into the match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Pisgah was overwhelmed by Brevard (Brevard, NC), 12-2, in a non-league match.
The Mountaineers (1-9) will now prepare for their match against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Knights go into the match with a 11-4 record. In their last match, North Henderson ran past Erwin (Asheville, NC), 3-2, in a non-league match.
