The Middle Creek Mustangs lacrosse team scored 8 points and held the visiting Apex Cougars to 3 in the Mustangs league win on Tuesday.
The Mustangs (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Pinecrest was overwhelmed by Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC), 16-2, in a non-league match.
The Cougars (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Golden Hawks go into the match with a 11-1 record. In their last match, Holly Springs nudged Green Hope (Cary, NC), 16-1, in a league match.
