In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Spanish Fort Toros (Spanish Fort, AL) softball team held off the host Fairhope Pirates (Fairhope, AL), by a margin of 6-5.
With the triumph, Spanish Fort moves its record to 8-6 on the year.
In their next game, the Pirates play the Baldwin County Tigers (Bay Minette, AL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 21. Fairhope will attempt to move on its 13-1 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 2-9 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Robertsdale (Robertsdale, AL).
