New Mexico High School Softball - La Cueva can't get by Rio Rancho

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) softball team held off the host La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM), by a margin of 15-14.
With the triumph, Rio Rancho moves its record to 17-2 on the year. The Rams host Cibola (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Cougars in a contest on Friday, April 22. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 3-6.
In their next game, the Bears play the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 20. La Cueva will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record.
