In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL) softball team held off the host Thompson Warriors (Alabaster, AL), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, Oak Mountain moves its record to 2-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 20. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 2-4. Tuscaloosa County lost 11-2 in their recent league contest against Hoover (Hoover, AL)
In their next game, the Warriors play the Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 21. Thompson will attempt to move on its 14-3 season record.
