Next, the Bulldogs confront the Independence Eagles (Thompson's Station, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 22. Smyrna will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Summit (Spring Hill, TN).

The Golden Bears now possess a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they host LaVergne for a 3A District 7 challenge on Wednesday, April 20. Mount Juliet will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 4-2 league win over Cookeville (Cookeville, TN). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-0.
