In Tuesday's league game, the Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA) soccer squad overwhelmed the host Yelm Tornados (Yelm, WA), by a final score of 5-0.
The Seahawks (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Capital (Olympia, WA). The Cougars go into the 3A South Sound challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Capital was overwhelmed by Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
The Tornados now possess a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host River Ridge for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 21. Yelm will confront a Hawks team coming off a 1-1 non-league Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 0-1.
