Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Chargers now sport a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Bernalillo for a 4A District 6 challenge on Friday, April 22. Albuquerque Academy will face a Spartans squad coming off a 15-4 non-league win over Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 17-5.

With the loss, Del Norte falls to 3-18 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Valley (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Vikings in a 4A District 6 challenge on Friday, April 22. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 12-9. Valley won 19-1 in their recent league challenge against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM)
