The Alvarado Indians softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Venus Bulldogs to 1 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Alvarado improves its record to 21-4 on the year. The Indians host Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A Region II District 11 game on Friday, April 22. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 8-9. Hillsboro lost 11-4 in their recent league game against Godley (Godley, TX)
