Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors (Ehrhardt, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders (Blackville, SC), 17-8 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Dorchester Academy for a SCISA A Region I challenge on Friday, April 22. Andrew Jackson Academy will face a Raiders squad coming off a 12-6 league win over St. John's Christian Academy (Moncks Corner, SC). The Raiders record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Jefferson Davis Academy falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Calhoun Academy (St. Matthews, SC) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 7-0. Calhoun Academy won 9-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC)
