North Carolina High School Softball - South Mecklenburg gets by Ardrey Kell

April 19, 2022: Charlotte, NC 28210

The South Mecklenburg Sabres got by the visiting Ardrey Kell Knights softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Sabres (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Cardinal go into the So Meck 4A battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Berry was edged by Olympic (Charlotte, NC), 17-4, in a league battle.

The Knights now sport a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Butler for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 21. Ardrey Kell will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-4.
