Bibb County Choctaws (Centreville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Calera Eagles (Calera, AL), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Choctaws now own a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montevallo for a 4A Area 5 challenge on Wednesday, April 20. Bibb County will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Billingsley (Billingsley, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, Calera falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Eagles host Chilton County (Clanton, AL) to face the Tigers in a 6A Area 6 challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 21-19. Chilton County won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Chelsea (Chelsea, AL)
