Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers (Bradley, IL), 6-1 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln-Way East for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 21. Lincoln-Way West will battle a Griffins squad coming off a 8-4 league win over Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Griffins record now stands at 8-0.

With the loss, Bradley-Bourbonnais falls to 9-4 on the campaign. The Boilermakers travel to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL) to battle the Knights in a SouthWest Suburban challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 9-3. Lincoln-Way Central won 7-0 in their recent league challenge against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL)
