Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX), 10-0 in a league challenge.
The Broncos now own a 22-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dripping Springs for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 23.
With the loss, Burnet falls to 18-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Gateway Christian (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 22. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
