Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Titans now own a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Charlotte for a Queen City 3A/4A challenge on Wednesday, April 20. Hopewell will face a Lions squad coming off a 22-0 league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Lions record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Chambers falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Hough (Cornelius, NC) to face the Huskies in a Queen City 3A/4A challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 13-2. Hough won 22-0 in their recent league challenge against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC)
