Conner Cougars (Hebron, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ryle Raiders (Union, KY), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Boone County for a District 33 challenge on Wednesday, April 20. Conner will battle a Rebels squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Harrison (Harrison, OH). The Rebels record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Ryle falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY) to battle the Braves in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 5-3. Grant County won 7-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Cooper (Union, KY)
