Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX), 12-4 in a league challenge.

The Matadors now sport a 9-23 record. They take the field next when they host Levelland for a 4A Region I District 3 challenge on Friday, April 22. Estacado will face a Lobos squad coming off a 14-1 league loss to Big Spring (Big Spring, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 13-16.

With the loss, Lake View falls to 7-20 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Snyder (Snyder, TX) to face the Tigers in a 4A Region I District 3 challenge on Friday, April 22. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 14-16. Snyder won 10-4 in their recent league challenge against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX)
