The St. Johns Country Day Spartans softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting First Coast Christian Knights to 1 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, St. Johns Country Day moves its record to 11-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to University Christian (Jacksonville, FL) to clash with the Christians in a 2A District 3 game on Thursday, April 28. The Christians come into the game with a record of 11-6.
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Harvest Community Warriors (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 21. First Coast Christian will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record.
