Greensboro Raiders (Greensboro, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Southside Panthers (Selma, AL), 24-6 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Linden for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 26.

With the loss, Southside falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Hale County (Moundville, AL) to face the Wildcats in a 3A Area 8 challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 6-11. Hale County lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Demopolis (Demopolis, AL)
