Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 22-11 in a league challenge.

The Seahawks now sport a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they host Beaufort for a AAAA Region 7 challenge on Wednesday, April 20. Hilton Head Island will face a Eagles squad coming off a 9-3 league win over Colleton County (Walterboro, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Lucy Beckham falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The travel to May River (Bluffton, SC) to face the Sharks in a AAAA Region 7 challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Sharks enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. May River lost 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Colleton County (Walterboro, SC)
