The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Incarnate Word Academy Angels (Corpus Christi, TX) and the visiting St. Anthony Yellowjackets (San Antonio, TX), saw Incarnate Word Academy's softball squad nip St. Anthony by a count of 5-1.
The Angels now sport a 22-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to TMI-Episcopal for a TAPPS Division II District 3 match on Wednesday, April 20.
With the loss, St. Anthony falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host John Paul II (Corpus Christi, TX) to face the Centurions in a TAPPS Division II District 3 match on Tuesday, April 26. The Centurions enter the match with a record of 4-8. John Paul II lost 10-5 in their recent league match against Hyde Park (Austin, TX)
