Inchelium Hornets (Inchelium, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad smash the visiting Republic Tigers (Republic, WA), 34-1 in a league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wellpinit for a 1B Northeast challenge on Thursday, April 21. Inchelium will face a Redskins squad coming off a 22-8 league loss to Mary Walker (Springdale, WA). The Redskins record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Republic falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Selkirk (Ione, WA) to face the Rangers in a 1B Northeast challenge on Saturday, April 23. The Rangers enter the challenge with a record of 3-5.
