Lytle Pirates (Lytle, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Karnes City Badgers (Karnes City, TX), 14-0 in a league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 13-11 record. They take the field next when they host Jourdanton for a 3A Region IV District 27 challenge on Friday, April 22. Lytle will face a Indians/Squaws squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Dilley (Dilley, TX). The Indians/Squaws record now stands at 24-7.

With the loss, Karnes City falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Badgers travel to Cotulla (Cotulla, TX) to face the Cowboys in a 3A Region IV District 27 challenge on Friday, April 22. The Cowboys enter the challenge with a record of 13-16. Cotulla lost 8-1 in their recent league challenge against Natalia (Natalia, TX)
