Law Lawmen (Milford, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sacred Heart Academy (Hamden, CT), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lawmen now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Career Magnet for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 22. Law will face a Panthers squad coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Branford (Branford, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Sacred Heart Academy falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The host Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT) to face the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 6-0. Amity Regional won 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Sheehan (Wallingford, CT)
