North Mesquite Stallions (Mesquite, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Skyline Raiders (Dallas, TX), 17-1 in a league challenge.

The Stallions now own a 10-14 record. They take the field next when they host Rockwall for a 6A Region II District 10 challenge on Friday, April 22. North Mesquite will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 10-0 league win over Horn (Mesquite, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 24-4.

In their next game, the Raiders play the Rockwall-Heath Hawks (Rockwall, TX) in a 6A Region II District 10 contest, on Friday, April 22. Skyline will attempt to move on its 2-15 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 14-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Tyler Legacy (Tyler, TX).
