California High School Softball - Ponderosa bounces Rio Linda

The Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) softball routed the host Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA), 12-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Bruins (12-3) will now prepare for their bout against Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Vikings go into the Foothill Valley League bout with a 12-3 record. In their last bout, Oakmont notched a victory over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA), 5-1, in a league bout.

The Knights now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Rodriguez for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 21. Rio Linda will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Vanden (Fairfield, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-9.
