The Robstown Cottonpickers softball team (Robstown, TX), was routed 12-2 in Tuesday's league test with the host Zapata Hawks (Zapata, TX)

Coming up next, the Hawks encounter the Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 31 test, on Friday, April 22. Zapata will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record. The Wildcats enter the test with a 19-8 record after their 2-0 league loss to Alice (Alice, TX).

The Cottonpickers (12-13) will now prepare for their test against King (Kingsville, TX). The Brahmas enter the 4A Region IV District 31 test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, King was routed by Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX), 8-0, in a league test.
