The Sequatchie County Indians softball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Signal Mountain Eagles to 9 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Sequatchie County moves its record to 19-8 on the year. The Indians host Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 20. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 14-11. Sale Creek won 11-2 in their recent league test against Lookout Valley (Chattanooga, TN)
The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Rhea County (Evensville, TN). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Rhea County overcame Bradley Central (Cleveland, TN), 8-3, in a league test.
