Tennessee High School Softball - Watertown can't hold off Smith County

The Smith County Owls softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Watertown Purple Tigers to 5 in the Owls league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Smith County moves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Owls host Macon County (Lafayette, TN) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Monday, April 25. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 8-7. Macon County lost 4-3 in their recent league game against White County (Sparta, TN)
In their next game, the Purple Tigers clash with the Westmoreland Eagles (Westmoreland, TN) in a 2A District 6 game, on Thursday, April 21. Watertown will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 9-5 record after their 18-2 league win over Cannon County (Woodbury, TN).
