Woodland Bobcats (Woodland, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Weaver Bearcats (Weaver, AL), 11-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 15-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Randolph County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 21. Woodland will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Comer (Sylacauga, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 25-7.

With the loss, Weaver falls to 15-13 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Pleasant Valley (Jacksonville, AL) to battle the Raiders in a 3A Area 11 challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 18-15. Pleasant Valley lost 7-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Oxford (Oxford, AL)
