The Chase Trojans the visiting Hibriten Panthers baseball team by a count of 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hendersonville for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A bout on Friday, April 21. Chase will face a Bearcats team coming off a 14-4 league loss to Chase (Forest City, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 8-8.
Next, the Panthers face the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A bout, on Friday, April 21. Hibriten will attempt to move on its 5-13 season record. The Pioneers enter the bout with a 13-5 record after their 9-1 league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).
