In Wednesday's non-league game, the host South Whidbey Falcons baseball team scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Coupeville Wolves.
The Falcons (4-5) will now prepare for their game against University Prep (Seattle, WA). The Pumas go into the 1A Emerald Sound game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, University Prep by Sultan (Sultan, WA), 2-0, in a league game.
The Wolves (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Mount Vernon Christian (Mount Vernon, WA). The Hurricanes go into the 1B/2B Northwest game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Mount Vernon Christian tipped Orcas Island (Eastsound, WA), 6-0, in a league game.
