The Crestwood Chargers baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Redford Union Panthers to 1 in the Chargers league victory on Wednesday.
The Chargers (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Garden City (Garden City, MI). The Cougars go into the Western Wayne match with a 0-4 record.
The Panthers (0-6) will now prepare for their match against Thurston (Redford, MI). The Eagles go into the Western Wayne match with a 0-8 record. In their last match, Thurston was overwhelmed by Franklin (Livonia, MI), 15-0, in a non-league match.
