North Carolina High School Baseball - Wheatmore loses to East Davidson

In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting East Davidson Golden Eagles baseball team scored a tight 9-4 victory over the Wheatmore Warriors.
The Golden Eagles (14-3) will now prepare for their game against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC). The Bulldogs go into the Central Carolina 1A/2A game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, Thomasville tipped Carver (Winston-Salem, NC), 23-0, in a non-league game.
The Warriors (7-10) will now prepare for their game against Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC). The Eagles go into the Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A game with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Uwharrie Charter got by Ledford (Thomasville, NC), 5-2, in a non-league contest.
