La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Mohonasen Warriors (Schenectady, NY), 5-4 in a league test.

With the win, La Salle Institute upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Cadets travel to Cohoes (Cohoes, NY) to battle the Tigers in a Section 2 Colonial test on Friday, April 21. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-6. Cohoes lost 21-5 in their recent league test against Albany Academy for Boys (Albany, NY)

With the defeat, Mohonasen falls to 6-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY) to battle the Blackbirds in a Section 2 Colonial test on Friday, April 21. The Blackbirds come into the test with a record of 1-7. Voorheesville lost 4-3 in their recent league test against Schalmont (Schenectady, NY)
