The Uwharrie Charter Eagles baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Ledford Panthers to 2 in the Eagles non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles (10-9) will now prepare for their match against Wheatmore (Trinity, NC). The Warriors go into the Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A match with a 7-10 record. In their last match, Wheatmore by East Davidson (Thomasville, NC), 9-4, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (15-2) will now prepare for their match against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Blue Comets go into the Mid-Piedmont 3A match with a 8-10 record. In their last match, Asheboro by West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC), 11-1, in a non-league match.
