Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL), 8-6 in a league test.

With the win, Marquette upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Crusaders host Woodland (Streator, IL) to battle the Warriors in a Tri-County test on Tuesday, April 25. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 5-9.

With the defeat, Seneca falls to 7-5 on the season. The Fighting irish travel to Coal City (Coal City, IL) to battle the Coalers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 20. The Coalers come into the test with a record of 9-6. Coal City won 15-11 in their recent league test against Streator (Streator, IL)
