The Potter Valley Bearcats baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Mendocino Cardinals to 2 in the Bearcats league victory on Wednesday.
The Bearcats (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Ferndale (Ferndale, CA). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Ferndale was overwhelmed by St. Bernard's (Eureka, CA), 10-0, in a league match.
The Cardinals (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Anderson Valley (Boonville, CA). The Panthers go into the North Central III match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Anderson Valley ran past Victory Christian Academy (Santa Rosa, CA), 24-21, in a league match.
