Colorado High School Baseball - Montezuma-Cortez sneaks past San Juan

The Montezuma-Cortez Panthers (Cortez, CO) baseball nipped the visiting San Juan Broncos (Blanding, UT), 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO) in a 3A/2A Intermountain contest, on Saturday, April 22. Montezuma-Cortez will attempt to better on its 12-3 season record. The Mean Moose enter the contest with a 9-5 record after their 15-3 league loss to Bayfield (Bayfield, CO).

The Broncos now sport a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Duchesne for a 2A Region 16 contest on Saturday, April 22. San Juan will play a Eagles squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over South Summit (Kamas, UT). The Eagles record now stands at 11-6.
