In Wednesday's league game, the host Nonnewaug Chiefs baseball team scored a nice 18-0 victory over the Terryville Kangaroos.
The Chiefs (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT). The Highlanders go into the Berkshire game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Northwestern Regional overcame Litchfield (Litchfield, CT), 8-5, in a league game.
The Kangaroos (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Gilbert (Winsted, CT). The Yellowjackets go into the Berkshire game with a 0-8 record. In their last game, Gilbert was overwhelmed by Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT), 12-6, in a non-league game.
